Our Principles
Care That Supports Our Patients' Lives
Osundosun Korean Medicine Clinic has cared for patients with 35 years of dedication across 2 generations. Rather than briefly suppressing symptoms, we pursue a root approach that looks at the whole body's balance and capacity for recovery.
Our Four Guiding Principles
Accurate Diagnosis
Even the same symptom may have different causes and require different care. We identify the cause first through interview, pulse and abdominal examination, and any needed tests.
Constitution-Centered Care
Even the same illness may call for different prescriptions in different people. We build individualized care matched to each patient's constitution and condition.
Root Recovery
Beyond symptom relief, we address the cause so recovery holds and recurrence is less likely.
Safe Treatment
We adjust intensity for age, stamina, and underlying conditions, and use tools such as ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture to increase accuracy.
Two Spaces, Two Specialists
The clinic is intentionally divided into a front (pain) area and a rear (herbal consultation) area, so each specialist can focus on their strengths.
Chief Director Soonhyung Ahn leads care for HIVD, spinal stenosis, frozen shoulder, sports injuries, and traffic accident cases with acupuncture, chuna, and ultrasound-guided pharmacopuncture. We identify the source of musculoskeletal pain accurately and tailor treatment to the individual.
Vice-Director Oh Eun-jeong, drawing on 35 years of clinical work in constitutional medicine, provides constitutional care and herbal consultations for chronic conditions such as atopy, psoriasis, hair loss, tinnitus, vertigo, digestion, and sleep. All formulas are prepared fresh in our on-site herbal dispensary.
